In the Hotseat - We meet Arsenal fan Kev!

As per, Seventy3' went out scouting for some fans of the upcoming opposition during the week and met Kevin Whicher of Arsenal fanzine 'the gooner'. You might see their sellers around the SOL tomorrow so after you've picked up your copy of Seventy3', why not grab a copy of their fanzine, which is a top quality read.

Back to business, then. Despite losing to Arsenal last week, optimism is still rife amongst the Sunderland faithful who hope and pray that a win tomorrow will set us on the path to glory.

In preparation for the Boro game a few weeks back, we spoke to 'Fly me to the moon' editor Robert Nichols, who gave us his views on the game ahead.

Well, sooner than expected, both sides meet again in the replay of the tie so I gave our Boro friend a bell to get his thoughts on the initial tie and the fixture tomorrow night at the riverside.

It isn't everyday that you get to speak to a Boro fan ahead of a game these days, with the Teesiders spending this season in the Championship, their third since relegation from the Premier League.

I spoke to Robert Nichols, a loyal Boro fan from MFC fansite FMTTM - you can take a look at what their members have to say ahead of the game on Sunday here:http://fansonline.net/middlesbrough/.

Surprisingly, he does not have three heads or webbed toes.

In The Hotseat - We meet Russell, Swansea fan!

Ahead of the game tomorrow I took out the time to speak to loyal Swans fan Russell, who has a long memory - in particular, he can remember seeing Colin Pascoe play for Sunderland. Over to Russell...

Hi Russell, big win against Arsenal at the weekend eh? How much hope do you have of coming to Sunderland and getting a win, taking into account our recent revival under Martin O’Neill?

In The Hotseat - HammyEnd.com

As we do every week before a game, I caught up with a fan of the upcoming opposition to get their thoughts on what lies ahead.

Meet Dan Crawford, who runs the Fulham fan site Hammy End –www.hammyend.com. Dan is a true Fulham supporter who devotes all his spare time to informing fans of the cottagers on what is going on at their club.

Hi Dan. How are Fulham doing this season then? There was alot of expectation when Jol came in as he’s a fairly big name these days.

In The Hotseat - 7Cantonas

A few weeks ago we were approached on twitter by Yolkie, a writer for Manchester United fan site 7cantonas.com, who asked us to answer a few questions in preparation for our game against the Red Devils at the weekend. Naturally, we asked them to return the favour. Below, Yolkie answered a few questions from Seventy3' writer Gavin Henderson...

I’m going straight for the jugular – how much do you fear Manchester City and their assault on Manchester United’s domination of English football?

In The Hotseat - Voice of Bolton

In what is going to be another regular feature on our site, I asked the guys at Voice of Bolton, an independant Bolton fan site, their thoughts ahead of the game tomorrow.

There is just a place between the two of us and both sides are desperate for a win. Are Bolton and Sunderland sat in false positions or is the current shape of the table pretty much how you expect it to look at the end of the season?

It’s been a difficult start for both teams.
