Ham's Review

Ham Review - Bolton 0 - 2 SAFC

Years ago, it was fairly well known that Sunderland had some of the loyalist, most passionate and loud away followings in the country.

We’d take thousands to each and every game up and down the country and show other fans how they should go on with regards to supporting their team. Now, this is no criticism of our fans – loyalty these days amongst football supporters is more poignant taking into consideration the fact that ticket prices are sky rocketing and the price of going to a football match these days is definitely not as cheap as it used to be.

Ham's Review - Van Persie 2 - 1 Larsson

Another utterly disappointing performance from Sunderland, eh?

Alright, it was Arsenal. Yes, the same Arsenal who have proven that they are a top club over many years and have a squad of players we can only dream of having – but it’s the basics that matter and yet again we are showing that we lack in certain areas.

My first gripe was the starting eleven – what does that tell the fans, the players and most importantly the opposition when we start without a single striker on the pitch?
