What is Seventy3?
Seventy3' is the new Retro Sunderland AFC magazine...with a twist!
Produced every other month, the magazine will feature a guest editor from SAFC's illustrious history, who will oversee their individual issue with help from the Seventy3' production team. Our guest editors so far have ranged from Micky Gray, Alex Rae, Gordon Armstrong, street artist Banksy and much more!
The magazine also boasts a particular theme each issue, as well as its regular articles from well known writers around the region, ex-players and fans.
At a retail price of £2.50 per issue, the 56 page glossy format is a welcome addition to the other fans magazines already available across Wearside. You can pick up your copy on a matchday for a discounted price of £2, which offers value for money.
The magazine is named Seventy3' after the famous FA Cup win over Leeds United under the Twin Towers at Wembley that year. The title is a celebration of the magic of that day which is instilled within the club.
Even if Sunderland carried on to win the cup in future years, the magazine would always retain its name.
The year Seventy3' shall always hold a place in the hearts of the people of Wearside and beyond.
